นอกจากนี้การเติบโตของเงินฝากในไตรมาส 1/63 ที่เติบโตเป็นพิเศษ เนื่องจากในช่วงการแพร่ระบาดของไวรัสโควิด-19 ลูกค้ามีความความเชื่อมั่นในความมั่นคงของธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ ทั้งสถานะทางการเงิน สภาพคล่อง เงินกองทุนที่เพียงพอ รวมถึงภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีของธนาคาร ทำให้พบว่าลูกค้าทั้งกลุ่มบุคคลและกลุ่มธุรกิจได้มีการย้ายเงินฝากจากธนาคารขนาดกลางและเล็กมายังธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์เพิ่มขึ้นผ่านการเปิดบัญชี CASA กับทางธนาคารเพิ่มสูงขึ้น
