นอกจากนี้ 4Q18 GDP ของสหรัฐฯ ที่ 2.6% ดีกว่าคาดที่ 2.2% สะท้อนเศรษฐกิจสหรัฐฯไม่ได้เร่งอ่อนตัวลง คาดจะช่วยคลายกังวลต่อการชะลอตัวของเศรษฐกิจโลกได้ ส่งผลให้จิตวิทยากการลงทุนจากภายนอกยังเป็นบวก ส่วนทิศทางในประเทศ ผ่านพ้นการรายงานผลประกอบการ 2018 ไปแล้ว พบว่า 208 บริษัทที่มีคาดการณ์จาก Consensus มีกำไรสุทธิรวม 8.6 แสนล้านบาท แย่กว่าคาด -7.82% หลักๆมาจากรายการพิเศษของบริษัทขนาดใหญ่ และ Stock Loss ของกลุ่มพลังงานถ่วงให้กำไรสุทธิติดลบหนัก แต่หากดูจากยอดขายรวมรวมจะพบว่าเติบโตได้ราว +6.2% สะท้อนพื้นฐานบมจ.ไทยยังมีแนวโน้มเป็นบวก
