สำหรับโครงสร้างการลงทุนของ PTTGLI เพื่อชำระมูลค่าการซื้อขายจำนวน 500 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐดังกล่าว อยู่ในรูปแบบของสัดส่วนหนี้สินต่อทุนที่ประมาณร้อยละ 40:60 โดยในส่วนของเงินทุนนั้นจะได้รับจากผู้ถือหุ้น ได้แก่ ปตท. และ ปตท.สผ. ตามสัดส่วนโครงสร้างการถือหุ้น สำหรับในส่วนของเงินกู้นั้น จะมาจากการกู้เงินจากบริษัทศูนย์บริหารเงินของทั้ง ปตท. และ ปตท.สผ. ได้แก่ บริษัท PTT Regional Treasury Center Pte. Ltd. (PTTRTC) และบริษัท PTTEP Treasury Center Company Limited (PTTEP TC)
