นายดามพ์ นานา ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายการเงิน บริษัท อาร์เอส จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า บริษัทมองว่าราคาหุ้น RS ตั้งแต่ช่วงกลางปี 2558 ที่ผ่านมาจนถึงปัจจุบันต่ำกว่ามูลค่าที่ควรจะเป็น ประกอบกับบริษัทมีสถานะทางการเงินที่แข็งแกร่ง ทั้งด้านสภาพคล่องทางการเงินและมีกำไรสะสมสูงพอที่จะเข้าทำการซื้อหุ้นคืนแบบมีนัยยะ ทำให้ทางคณะกรรมการบริษัทมีมติอนุมัติโครงการซื้อหุ้นคืน (Treasury Stock) เพื่อเป็นการหนุนราคาหุ้น เพิ่มสภาพคล่องของหุ้น ตลอดจนกำไรต่อหุ้น (Earnings per Share) และ ROE (Return on Equity) เพิ่มขึ้น ทำให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดทั้งฝ่ายนักลงทุนและบริษัท

Watch for sell-on-fact activity in the 11th hour of 2Q20 results season: Thai listed firms must submit 2Q20 results to the SET by Aug 14. There may be sell-on-fact and portfolio adjustment activities, especially involving mid- and small-caps which have run-up recently. Negative surprises could also trigger selling to adjust portfolios.
